Is a chicken today better than a cow tomorrow?

The species of animals represented on the Animal Dice are not evenly distributed. Each die actually has 1 face showing "Cow", 2 faces showing "Pig", and a whopping 3 faces showing "Chicken"! The score for successfully filling a pen with these animals thus varies based on their rarity. However, a quick strategy based on chickens might allow you to finish your ranch quickly and nibble valuable points from those aiming for cows. Don't forget about pigs, undoubtedly the best compromise!

Buildings not by chance

By gathering wood and nails, you can build a series of buildings in your ranch that will help you mitigate randomness and take advantage of specific combinations of results. The Barn will allow you to utilize double results from the dice, the Warehouse is a very convenient wildcard to use sparingly, while the Greenhouse will allow you to consistently gather points. The ability to build buildings in any space of the ranch will also help you manage space better in the various pens.
