To the west of Eriador, between the Misty Mountains and the Mountains of Lhûn, lived Men and Elves. There were even the last Dúnedain, the kings of Men who had come by Sea from Westuria in ancient times; but as they were quickly disappearing, the lands of their Northern Kingdom were in a pitiful state of neglect.
Eriador, the lonely lands described in The Lord of the Rings™, comes to life like never before in this supplement for The One Ring™, the official role-playing game based on the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. A region often depicted as desolate becomes a genuine melting pot of adventures, capable of offering many hours of gameplay.
Chapter 1: Fog over Eriador presents a description of the regions that once were part of the kingdom of Arnor, showing in detail the city of Tharbad.
Chapter 2: Storm on the Horizon provides the Loremaster with a series of narrative elements useful for building a possible future for the land of Eriador as a whole, including descriptions of many looming threats, NPCs, and their related objectives.
Chapter 3: Historic Places adds twelve interesting sites in the same format used by the core rulebook. These special locations illustrate both 'historical' sites mentioned in The Lord of the Rings™ or The Hobbit™, as well as sites specifically created for the game.
