Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME Hidden Summoners is the fall 2018 expansion and consists of 60 all-foil cards with 3 new themes that utilize multiple Summoning methods! Each new strategy introduced in Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME Hidden Summoners combines the flexibility of Link Summoning with the pure power of another type of Special Summoning. Here’s what awaits you next fall!

Sacred Phoenix of Nephtys rises from the ashes and is reborn as a Ritual Monster! Both the Phoenix and its servant Archdeacon of Nephtys are leveling up for modern battles. Each has a Ritual Monster based on the original card and they also have a multitude of Level 2 followers that allow you to destroy your cards to use their powers. Destroy another card in this theme and its secondary abilities will activate in your next Standby Phase, giving you two great effects for the price of one! The Link Monsters in this theme are based on Ritual Summons. One ability helps you gather everything you need to perform a Ritual Summon or revive fallen monsters, while the other ability increases the number of Ritual Monsters you can use to Link Summon it.

Tiny tricksters are preparing something wicked! They may seem cute and innocent, but the three main effects of the monsters in this strategy can combine in 6 different ways to bring the chaos! This theme makes extensive use of Fusion Monsters alongside Link Monsters, and the monsters in its Main Deck will provide you with more materials to work with when you use them for Fusion Summoning or for Link Summoning. Each of the Fusion or Link Monsters can be tributed for a special effect. Most of them simply split back into the monsters you used to create them so you can change your strategy on the fly, but the strongest of the monsters can be Tributed to replicate the effects of Raigeki or Harpie's Feather Duster!

Finally, Zombie-type monsters inspired by Japanese legend manifest as a new Synchro Summoning strategy! This Deck employs the classic "Synchro Climb" strategy with a twist: once you have climbed to the highest level of Synchro Monster, you will be able to Summon the previous Synchro Monster every time your Synchro monster is destroyed and activate its extra effects! This strategy can bring out each of its Synchro Monsters in a single turn thanks to its Tuners that Special Summon themselves from the Graveyard. The Link Monster from this theme becomes intangible when it targets a monster and freezes an enemy monster to the bone, reducing its ATK and DEF each time your opponent destroys a Synchro monster.
