In Canvas, you will find yourselves in the role of a group of painters intent on creating a series of wonderful paintings composed of a mix of transparent cards capable of representing fascinating subjects and evocative landscapes. Besides satisfying your aesthetic sense, the creation of these paintings will allow you to win the favor of the jurors of this competition who, at the end of the game, will enable you to collect the precious points needed for victory. Canvas is indeed not a game where you have to use imagination, or in which to utilize creativity. Canvas is a puzzle game where you must be able to skillfully overlap the various transparent cards you obtain from the center of the table in order to make visible the icons necessary to win the favor of the jurors.
Each transparent card contains some icons at the bottom that, combined with those of the other 2 transparent cards used to compose the painting, will define the characteristics of the painting itself. Each juror has a particular preference for the icons present on the paintings, and each painting can therefore receive the approval of one or more jurors. Based on how many favorable votes you have obtained at the end of the game with your 3 paintings, you will calculate the victory points, and the player with the most points will be declared the winner.
