Zhanguo: The First Empire is a strategy board game set during the rise of the great Chinese empire in the 3rd century B.C.

Players take on the leadership of important families in the newly reignited China of Qin Shi Huangdi, aiming to assist him in his task of shaping the nascent empire and laying the foundations of a society destined for centuries of prosperity. To achieve these goals, political and cultural reforms are planned, as well as the construction of great works, the most ambitious of which is surely the Great Wall of China.

Each turn, therefore, every player must choose which actions to take to support the emperor in his colossal endeavor, giving a new face to China and thereby earning a prominent place among the loyalists of Qin Shi Huangdi. The ultimate recognition for the families that prove themselves worthy is to be remembered forever in the ranks of his immortal soldiers: the famous Terracotta Army!
