Sequel of the best-selling game Azul.
In the 16th century, King Manuel I commissioned the greatest Portuguese craftsmen to build some grand buildings. After completing the palaces of Evora and Sintra, the king sought to have a summer pavilion built to honor the most celebrated members of the royal family. This building was intended for the most talented craftsmen, whose skills reflected the splendor deserved by such important figures. Unfortunately, the king died before construction could begin.
In Azul ̶ Summer Pavilion, you will return to Portugal to complete the prestigious task that never began. As master craftsmen, you must use the finest materials to bring the summer pavilion to life, carefully avoiding waste of your resources. Only the best will rise to the challenge and honor the Portuguese royal family.
Summer Pavilion will allow you to once again breathe in the atmospheres of the characteristic Moorish-inspired decorations.
In this new iteration, players will need to tile the floor of King Manuel I's summer pavilion.
A title that sees the addition of new mechanisms, based on set collection and the reproduction of various patterns.
The main difference compared to Azul is in the unique shape of its tiles, which are diamond-shaped. These elongated quadrilaterals will form six-pointed stars that will create the mosaic of the floor.
Each game lasts six rounds (averaging about 30 – 45 minutes), during which players must draw various tiles and place them on the game board, trying not to waste them in order to fill all available spaces, in order to earn more points and win the game.
