Cookie

To make this site work properly, sometimes we place small data files called "cookies" on your device. Most big websites do this too.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files (letters and/or numbers) that allow the web server to store information on the client (the browser) to be reused during the same visit to the site (session cookies) or later, even after days (persistent cookies).
Cookies are stored, based on user preferences, by the individual browser on the specific device being used (computer, tablet, smartphone).
Similar technologies, such as web beacons, transparent GIFs, and all forms of local storage introduced with HTML5, can be used to collect information about user behavior and service usage.
Throughout this document, we will refer to cookies and all similar technologies simply as "cookies."

Types of cookies

Strictly Necessary Cookies
These are essential cookies for the proper functioning of the site and are used to manage login and access to the site's reserved functions.

Analytics and Performance Cookies
These are cookies used to collect and analyze traffic and site usage anonymously. These cookies, while not identifying the user, allow, for example, the detection of whether the same user reconnects at different times. They also allow monitoring of the system and improving its performance and usability. Disabling these cookies can be done without any loss of functionality.

Profiling Cookies:
These are permanent cookies used to identify (anonymously and non-anonymously) user preferences and improve their browsing experience. gametrade.it does not use this type of cookie.

Third-Party Cookies

When visiting a website, you may receive cookies from both the visited site ("first-party") and from sites managed by other organizations ("third parties").
A notable example is the presence of "social plugins" for Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and LinkedIn.
These are parts of the visited page generated directly by these sites and integrated into the hosting site's page. The most common use of social plugins is for sharing content on social networks.
The presence of these plugins involves the transmission of cookies to and from all sites managed by third parties. The management of information collected by "third parties" is governed by their respective policies, which you are encouraged to refer to. For greater transparency and convenience, the web addresses of the different policies and methods for managing cookies are provided below.

Google Analytics

Gametrade.it pages also include certain components transmitted by Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). These are third-party cookies collected and managed anonymously to monitor and improve the hosting site's performance (performance cookies).
Google Analytics uses "cookies" to collect and analyze website usage behavior anonymously.
For more information, please refer to the link below:
https://www.google.it/policies/privacy/partners/ Users can selectively disable Google Analytics' action by installing the opt-out component provided by Google on their browser. To disable Google Analytics' action, please refer to the link below:https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Cookie Duration

Some cookies (session cookies) remain active only until the browser is closed or the logout command is executed. Other cookies "survive" the browser closing and are also available on subsequent user visits.
These cookies are called persistent, and their duration is set by the server at the time of their creation. In some cases, an expiration date is set, while in others, the duration is unlimited.

How to control cookies?

You can control and/or verify cookies as you wish – to find out more, go to aboutcookies.org
You can delete cookies already on your computer and set almost all browsers to block their installation.

Warning: disabling all or some technical cookies may compromise the use of site features reserved for registered users. Conversely, public content accessibility is also possible by completely disabling cookies.
Disabling "third-party" cookies does not affect navigability in any way.
Settings can be defined specifically for different websites and web applications. Furthermore, the best browsers allow you to define different settings for "first-party" and "third-party" cookies.
For example, in Firefox, through the Tools->Options menu ->Privacy, you can access a control panel where you can define whether to accept or refuse different types of cookies and proceed with their removal.
