THE FIRST BOARD GAME FOR THOSE WHO HAVE ALWAYS DREAMED OF “DOING RADIO”!

real facts and people" and is the first to take the audience “behind the scenes” of the radio profession, full of surprises, funny anecdotes, and of course, lots of music.

«I was listening to Deejay Chiama Italia when Linus announced the song linking it to the news they were talking about, stating that it was not the intended song but that he would still find a way to connect it to the news. Of course, he managed perfectly, and I thought, “Hey, this is a game!” So, “ON AIR - Play like a deejay” was born" says speaker Francesco Lancia.

HOW TO PLAY?

1. Starting the game is very simple, just place the score mixer on the game table, choose your pawn that represents one of the “sliders” of the control tools, draw 9 cards with the day’s news and audience messages, and identify the most devoted Radio Deejay listener who will take on the role of the Director. Once that’s done, each player will receive 6 song cards from the Director, with the option to discard those they don’t know until they have their perfect “music rotation”.

This is where the ability to improvise and pretend comes into play: only one of the participants will have the real card, all others will have to pretend to read their own card to deceive the opponents and to convince the audience, then tempting fate and choosing from their deck the song that offers them the perfect assist for any hypothetical news. When the Director collects all the cards and reads the news, we enter the heart of the live broadcasteach player is called to announce, in their own way, the news and connect it as creatively and credibly as possible to the song they have chosen, revealing the title and the author of the track at the end of their speech.
And that’s how “Angelo and Paola have decided to embrace the priesthood after years of engagement. Will they still be together as a priest and nun? Well, it’s possible, we all need love… so what better opportunity to listen to the Blues Brothers in ‘Everybody need somebody to love’?”

3. But how will the listeners react? The third and final phase of the turn is exactly that of the listening where the group is called to indicate the best DJ by pointing to the player whom they believe had the news in hand! Whoever guesses receives 3 points; if the DJ is identified by at least 1 player, they receive 3 points, but if not “discovered” they lose 2. Each player deemed the DJ
